First time? Don't worry. We've got you covered.
Most PL clubs sell out every game. Join the official membership (£25-40/year) for priority access. Avoid resellers — they're overpriced and sometimes fake. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Spurs are hardest to get. Newly promoted clubs are easiest.
Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff. Arrive at least 60 minutes early for your first time. You'll want to soak in the atmosphere, find your seat, and grab food. The pre-match warmup is worth watching.
Stadium food is expensive (£5-7 for a pie, £6+ for a pint). Many fans eat at nearby pubs before the game. Alcohol is NOT allowed in view of the pitch — you can buy it inside but must drink in the concourse.
Your ticket (digital or print), phone, wallet. That's it. Large bags are usually not allowed. No umbrellas in most stadiums. Dress for the weather — you'll be outside for 2+ hours.
Stand up when everyone stands up. Sing along if you know the words (or just clap). Don't sit in the away end unless you support the away team. Don't wear the wrong colors. Be respectful. Enjoy the noise.
Public transport is almost always better than driving. Most PL stadiums have terrible parking. London clubs: use the Tube. Manchester: tram or bus. Liverpool: bus or walk from city center.
